Visualization settings for Magnetic field tutorial

Hi,

I haven't ever been able to figure out the visualization settings necessary to see the magnetic field solution in this tutorial:
ngsolve.org/docu/latest/whetting_the_appetite/cmagnet.html

I scroll to zoom into the bounding box, but everything is gray or white. No pretty image like in the screen shot. I'm sure it must be something simple...

Hi Dow,

Using a clipping plane orthogonal to the z-axis with appropriate distance settings gives you the desired visualization.
Check the following image for all the options:


These are the things I changed in the menu

Option	Value
Autoscale	Off
Max-value	6e-8
Clipping Plane Sol:	Scalar Function
Scalar Function:	B-field (3)

and in the menu

Option	Value
Normal y	0
Normal z	-1
Distance	0.008
Additional Disctance	0.3
Enable clipping	On
